Lake George, CO • June 5 – 7th, 2026

Grab your whiskers and your wildest costume, it’s time to pounce on adventure and camp!!

It’s Camp

What to Do, What to Do, What to Do

Bison Peak Lodge is the cat’s meow for mischief! We have the whole place to ourselves, and they don’t care what we do. There’s all kinds of games and things to do such as, giant chess, archery, bocce, pool (not swimming, but wear a swim suit if it’s what you want), and hiking trails that wind into the national forest. There is a thicc asspen out there that is hundreds of years old, highly recommend going to find it. If you’re feeling fishy, there’s a river next door for some prime fly fishing and Lake George is just a quick drive away for a dip.

You’re free to chase whatever fun you fancy, our goal is simply to round up our favorite cool cats and whisk everyone away to a magical hideaway. Just know, we’re planning a party along with lots of other things, get ready for some food, fun, and swamptronic beats.

Accommodations

This is a retreat center with lots of different accommodations to suit most preferences. It is not a luxury hotel, most of the accommodations are a tent variation, but with actual beds (we need this, we’re mostly over 40). All the accommodations have power running to them, heated blankets, end tables, it’ll be great!

There are fewer accommodations than people invited. Many of the accommodations have multiple beds, with room for more than more than 1 person or couple. Is this the perfect situation? No, AND we will be happy to play match maker if you’d like to find someone to bunk with. The cabin spaces especially when broken down and split among individuals become reasonably priced.

To book your accommodations at Bison Peak Lodge, follow this link.

There is also room for people to bring to their own tents, yurts, conversion vans, you name it! If you’d like to use this option please make sure you RSVP, and let us know what your setup is like. There are no utility hook ups for RV’s, but there is space for one.

There is one close option available off property. The Broadmore Fly Fishing Camp is the closest neighbor to Bison Peak Lodge, it’s across the road. In December 2025, the price for a cabin is $1488 a night.
If you have questions, or would like to have us help coordinate sharing a space please reach out to us and we can help match you up with another great human.

What to Bring

The Bison Peak Lodge at Puma Hills is secluded, not as remote as Burning Man, but you want to ensure you have everything you need for the weekend, including any medications or other items that contribute to your comfort. We want to pampurr you as best we can, and

Clothing/costumes

It’s June in the Colorado Mountains, be prepared for everything. We hope that the weather will be purrfectly sunny, but rain is always possible and it might be chilly at night. Wear whatever is comfortable for the activities you want to do, we’re camping we’ll be outside. But also…

We’re putting on a show Saturday night, and you can help make it un-furr-gettable! You all know Lesley and how much she loves a good costume… Here’s your purrfect excuse to go all out. We want to see your festival sheik that makes you feline sweet, color, sparkles, more the better! No specific theme, be a robot, wear a wooked out onesie, fur vest (absolutely!), just be authentic to how fabulous you are. Lesley has put together a Pinterest board for inspiration.

Please ensure all outfits are leave no trace, we want to help keep this place beautiful.

Food & Drinks

We will be providing tasty kibbs to all the cool cats, so if you have any dietary restrictions please tell us, we will ensure you are well fed!

For those who do bring your own snacks and other food. The rules of backcountry apply, and we don’t want to wake up to a bear in our hair. There are communal bear cages to put your coolers in. There is wildlife in the area and using the bear cages is required for your own safety. There may be space inside the fridge in the main lodge, we just don’t know how much with the rest of the food for the weekend.

We’ll also have seltzers, sodas and snacks available. If you have specific food or drinks you want to enjoy in the outdoors, you should bring them!

Alcohol

We’ll be purrviding alcohol all weekend. We’ll have a couple cocktails to offer, as well as beer and wine.

If you bring your own alcohol, you must give it to the bartender for them to serve you. They will shut the event down if we do not follow this rule, please don’t make that happen. Something about the liquor license of the property does not allow you to consume it unless someone else hands it to you. You absolutely can bring whatever you’d like, you just have to have it served to you by a bartender.

It’s comfies, costumes, & chaos!

The meowtains are calling!

Getting There

We know this is a long journey for many of you, and we cannot tell you how much we appreciate you taking time out of your life to come be with us. Puma Hills isn’t the most remote place, but it’s a trek and there isn’t public transportation to get you there.

It’s a beautiful 2 hour drive from the airport depending on traffic through Denver. You’ll be taking Highway 285 west out of Denver, enjoy the mountain curves and watch your speed as traps are common.

We would love to encourage you to carpool. We’re happy to connect people to share the rides together, we’ll setup a Doc so people can post their travel plans if they’re either looking for a ride or a passenger.
